“Provide opportunities for players of all ages, genders and abilities to play Football within a safe and enjoyable environment, with coaching sessions delivered by excellent coaches”
Formed in 1978 by Ray Patrick and Ron Smith along with founder member and existing Chairman / Secretary Jim Hover and starting with just two teams at Under 12 and Under 14, Ise Lodge have progressed to be the biggest club in Northamptonshire with over 30 youth sides ranging from Under 7 through to senior level.
The current Burnley Manager Sean Dyche played all his youth football at Ise Lodge until he signed for Brian Clough at Nottingham Forest.
We provide over 500 boys and girls of all ages and levels the opportunity to play football in a safe and nurturing environment. The club also offers training for all boys and girls of ages 4 / 5, to prepare them for football, and has established a mixed 'Disability Team' in affiliation with the Northamptonshire Football Association.
Our home ground is based at the Ise Lodge Community Centre in St Vincent's Avenue (off Deeble Road), Kettering. It is a shared facility where the club has changing rooms and enclosed land at the rear of the Community Centre which houses a car park and 3 grass football pitches.
Ise Lodge Youth Football Club is proud to stress that it is a FA Charter Standard Community Club. To achieve this, we have between 40 / 50 coaches with a minimum of Level 1 FA Coaching Badge that includes Emergency Aid, Child Welfare and DBS Checks. At least 8 of these coaches have gone on to obtain Level 2 FA Coaching Badge and this number is increasing.
